Association of Southeast Asian Nations (PERBARA) [1] [2], or more popularly known as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a geo-political organization and economy of the countries in Southeast Asia, which was established in Bangkok, August 8, 1967 through the Bangkok Declaration by Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. This organization aims to promote economic growth, social progress and cultural development of its member states, and to promote peace at regional level. ASEAN member countries held a general meeting each November.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat is the nerve centre of ASEAN, a regional inter-governmental organisation founded in 1967, to promote peace and stability, sustained economic growth, shared prosperity and social progress. It comprises the ten countries of Southeast Asia. Currently, the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) is looking for suitable candidates to fill the vacancy of following positions:
Technical Support Assistant IT Systems Division
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, information management systems or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years working as IT technical support or helpdesk.
- Good knowledge of Windows (XP,Vista, 7), MS Office (XP, 2007), Outlook (XP, 2007).
- Good skills in troubleshooting Hardware and Software.
- Sound knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, Internet Technology, Antivirus and Anti Spyware.
- Sound Knowledge of software and web application development/administration is preferable.
- Sound Knowledge of SQL Server/MySQL is preferable.
- Familiar with Video Conferencing System and Blackberry devices is preferable.
- Customer oriented and good team player.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge and technical skills in the relevant area.
- Sound oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, including experience in cross-cultural environment and international settings.
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Remuneration
- Successful candidate will be offered the post with a probation period of six months and monthly salary starting from IDR 3,500,000.
National Consultant – Macroeconomic Surveillance
Requirements
- Candidates must have a post-graduate degree in economics from a reputable University (PhD preferred) in finance, management and public policy, with strong analytical skills and background in macroeconomics, international trade, international finance and development economics. They must also have substantial experience in economic research and policy analysis and strong familiarity with econometric and modeling tools. Those with experience in regional macroeconomic surveillance and development work in ASEAN will be given preference. Strong leadership and communication skills are also a plus.

Macroeconomist for Monetary / Trade
Requirements
- Candidates will have a postgraduate-level background in international trade, macroeconomics with specialty in services and/or investments and trade facilitation, with in-depth expertise and experience in regional macroeconomic surveillance and development work i.e. quantitative models, and substantial knowledge of current developments in ASEAN finance cooperation. Strong leadership, analytical, liaison and communication skills; experience in database system and interactive statistical tools is preferred.
