KPC subsequently relinquished most of the original Agreement Area, retaining 1,961 sq. km

Currently Pertamina EP production level is around 120 thousand barrels of oil per day (BOPD) for oil and about 1003 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) for gas.

Working Area (WK), Pertamina EP, covering 140 thousand square kilometers is the most abundant of the Oil and Gas Mining Area of PT PERTAMINA (PERSERO). WK area of business management scheme was carried out by self-operated (own operation) and cooperation within the partnership, namely the Joint Enhanced Oil Recovery Operating Body (JOB-EOR) as many as three contracts and Technical Assistant Contract (TAC) of 33 contracts. If the views of its geographical range, Pertamina EP operates in almost all parts of Indonesia, from Sabang to Merauke.

WK Pertamina EP is divided into three regions, namely Sumatra, Java and Eastern Indonesia (KTI). JOB EOR whole operation is managed from the Centre and TAC own while the operation is managed in each region.
